Moda Pier

Constructed between 1916 and 1917 under the direction of renowned architect Vedat Tek, the Moda Pier has undergone various transformations since its establishment, serving initially as a pier, then as the English Yacht Club, and later reverting back to a pier.

This single-story edifice has borne witness to significant events predating the establishment of the Republic, but regrettably fell into disrepair and was left to its fate. However, through the joint efforts of lstanbul Municipality and NOVOS Architects, the historic Moda Pier, an emblematic symbol of Kadıköy, has been restored to its former glory and given a new lease on life.
