The lstanbul TV and Radio Tower was constructed to embody its surrounding environment, with the building’s form reflecting the topography of the area.

. The tower’s design takes into account various factors, including the prevailing wind direction, focal points of the view, and the connection between communication systems and the primary carrier. Rather than being integrated into the surrounding urban fabric, the tower stands independently without a designated front or back. lts shape is adapted to the landscape, utilizing an axis of symmetry to achieve a deformed appearance. Notably, the side facing Asia differs from the side facing Europe. The project was awarded the ’Best Tall Non-Building 2022” prize by the Chicago Council on Tall Building and Urban Habitat - CTBUH.
